The Spanish IT consulting and virtualisation company, Qindel Group, has signed to be a Vista partner with CloudBees, the enterprise DevOps company powering the continuous economy.

After years of developing solutions for its clients in a continuous integration environment with Jenkins, the popular open source continuous delivery automation server, Qindel decided to move forward with CloudBees. Doing so allows them to provide clients with the CloudBees Suite – an end-to-end continuous software delivery system. The CloudBees Suite includes CloudBees Core, CloudBees DevOptics, CloudBees CodeShip and CloudBees Jenkins Support. Specifically, CloudBees Core is an enterprise DevOps solution that provides enterprise-grade Jenkins functionality.

CloudBees Core provides advanced functionality in the areas of security, scalability, manageability and support for Jenkins. CloudBees continues to constantly innovate, most recently introducing support for Kubernetes and many popular cloud platforms. Additionally, CloudBees offers CloudBees DevOptics, for gaining DevOps insights and data analytics across the entire value stream.

Many key contributors to the Jenkins codebase are CloudBees engineers. They contribute code back to the Jenkins project on an ongoing basis to continuously improve Jenkins functionality and quality. With this expertise in-house, CloudBees has the knowledge and expertise needed to respond to issues and questions related to Jenkins and DevOps.

María Gracia, Qindel Group Director of Operations, explained that the purpose of this collaboration is to provide CloudBees Core to current clients, therefore offering the leading end-to-end solution for continuous delivery.

In addition to the CloudBees Suite, Qindel Group provides services for implementing software delivery automation. These services are focused on helping clients to make their development more agile and efficient, through methodologies like Scrum, Kanban and Lean.

The CloudBees partnership is part of the Qindel strategy to add new products and updates to existing solutions to meet market demand, to improve their clients’ daily operations and to offer innovative enterprise solutions to solve their client´s needs in an innovative and strategic way, in the short, medium and long term.

Aaron Morrison, director of worldwide channel sales, CloudBees, said: “We are very pleased to collaborate with Qindel Group. Together, we will jointly tackle and solve important DevOps challenges for our customers. We look forward to a solid and long-lasting business relationship.”

María Gracia added: “We have just started working together, but the CloudBees availability, flexibility and dedication to DevOps is very contagious. Our common objective is clearly to provide the best solution for our mutual clients.”

Qindel Group plans to use the alliance with CloudBees to satisfy current clients’ DevOps needs, the vast majority of whom are from sectors such as retail, banking, telecommunications, education and government, and to attract new business based on their presence in the European and Latin American markets.
